Dan Dawson (R)

I pray in agreement with prayer warriors engaged in spiritual warfare on behalf of Senator Dan Dawson. We lift him up, stand in the gap under the authority Jesus gives His disciples in Matthew 28:18-19, and pray in Jesus' name that he be surrounded by spirit-filled Christians who are able to speak Your Word of Truth and Your values into his life. We pray in Jesus' name for the binding (Matthew 16:19) of satan's rulers, authorities, powers of this dark world and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12) and for "the demolish(ing) of arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God," (2 Corinthians 10:5). We pray for the loosing (Matthew 16:19) of open eyes, listening ears and a soft heart that will enable Mr. Dawson to receive revelation of Your truth and values into his spirit. We pray that Dan Dawson is convicted to receive Your gift of salvation (John 3:16) and "take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ," (2 Cor. 10:5). We pray he be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24). In Jesus name, Amen.

Father, we pray that Your mercy, grace, goodness and saving power would be acknowledged, witnessed and sought by Senator Dan Dawson. You love him with a perfect and everlasting love. May this truth ring loud and clear in his heart and mind, so much so that he is drawn to and clings to You and Your Truth that is as everlasting as Your love. Lord, guide Mr. Dawson's steps and guard his heart. We humbly ask that You would provide true wisdom and discernment and prompt him to receive it and act upon it. May Senator Dawson come to full understanding that You are the ultimate protector, provider and authority and gauge his thoughts, plans and actions accordingly. Thank you for Your watchful eye over Dan Dawson and all that concerns him. In the authority of the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen

Father God, I pray for Sen. Dawson - that you would open his heart to hear and respond to the Gospel message if he does not know you. Help him to seek wise counsel from godly men and women you will place in his path. Protect him from the influence of the evil one. Give him discretion, foresight and understanding in making decisions. Give him the courage to do the right thing even when urged to do the wrong thing. Deliver him from opinions contrary to Your Word. Guard him and his family from harm and bless and protect them. In Jesus name, Amen.
